Dropping balls for a good cause

The T4 Group are proudly sponsoring this year’s Helicopter Golf Ball Drop fundraiser for the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES). Happening at SBS Bank Invercargill Golf Club on Friday, 1 December, it is considered the best fundraiser “par none”.

Launched in 2022, Southland Helicopters drops 1,500 golf balls into the middle of the green, and the closest ball to the “X” wins a $1,000.00 cash prize.

The golf fundraiser is to help fund the running /execution of the Southland Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) for 2024 in the Southern region. The scheme inspires young people to discover ignite the spark of entrepreneurship and equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the world of business. This programme is for year 12 and 13 students.

The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop will take place at 11.00am, at the SBS Bank Invercargill Golf Club, with tee off for the golf tournament starting at 12.00pm.

Junior students from Otatara School will be popping along to watch as well as be the ones to help gather the balls after the drop.

Spend $5 and stand a chance to win $1000.
